THE PERFECT KISS
© 2006 by Carl Tronco

I kissed her
Like none before
Lips aflame with love’s tender glow
From peak to brow, lash to nose
Each caress patient and slow
Temple to cheek, lobe to neck
Lingering to breathe her scent
Shoulder to breast, hip to thigh
Moving in for one last try
With passion’s abandon on I went
Till alas we both were spent

Glorious in my defeat
This search is one I’ll oft repeat
Imagine Love, ecstatic bliss
The day we share the Perfect Kiss!
